Aruna Sairam, widely regarded as the leading South Indian female vocalist of her generation, seduces audiences with her unusal deep vocal timbre and defies boundaries in her collaborations with internationally renowned Eurpoean and African artists.
Aruna will be joined by young veena virtuoso, Hari Sivanesan, the latest recipient of the BBC Radio 3 World Routes Academy. London-born to Sri Lankan parents, Hari is a student of Smt Sivasakthi Sivanesan, one of the UK’s foremost Carnatic figures.
